Fifth graders had been exploring the topic of “The Big Screen” and the related concept of transcendence. So, it was suitable to have a tour around the Museum of the Moving Image, in New York City. The MoMI is dedicated to the art, history, technique, and technology of the moving image in all its forms.They showed us a bit around the artifacts of the museum, and how some people and movies have transcended up to this youngsters’ generation.Students mentioned some of the movies that they like as well as some old movies they watched, such as: “Singing in the Rain” and “Gone with the Wind”.
